ADA Course Content Compliance for Adjuncts In-Person

This is an in-person session on the main campus in the Paterson Room.
Decades old Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) rules no longer address today's technology. ADA compliance rules have changed with the focus on eliminating barriers and improving equity. Learn how to make your digital documents accessible before uploading them to Blackboard.
Learning objectives:
Upon successful completion of this workshop, participants will be able to:
- Describe Universal Design for Learning.
- Create accessible MS Word documents.
- Create accessible MS PowerPoint documents.
- Follow the guidance in the ALLY accessibility report to address reported issues with content.
- Use Echo360 to generate and edit a video transcript.
