Abstract
The Introduction to Ultra Courses workshop is designed for Blackboard instructors who would like to explore Ultra features and content creation. Essentials and basic Blackboard Ultra functionality are explained to enable instructors to create accessible content and communicate with students using the learning management system. For example, learn how to add images to your course and what the difference between a folder and a learning module is. This is a hands-on workshop.
Objectives
Upon successful completion of this workshop, participants will be able to:

  1. Use Blackboard help
  2. Follow basic principles of good design
  3. Communicate with students in their course
  4. Create course content that meets ADA guidelines
  5. Control when content becomes available to students

Duration: average of 6 hours total

There is no stipend for participating in this workshop.
